There is a hint of rub on the highpoints and the only defects are a low spot over the O in ONE (caused by debris on the die or a planchet void) plus a short scratch left of the O in ONE. The area around the low spot is a darker shade of chocolate brown, probably done intentionally to minimize the appearance of the low spot. There is no trace of corrosion or roughness associated with a removed spot. Otherwise nicely struck MDS with a fine die crack through the date and most of the stars.
